From the Conference Organizers:

"Dear Fellow Researchers:

The International Retrovirology Association (IRA) would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our fellow researchers to the 13th International Conference on Human Retrovirology: HTLV, which will be held at the Hakone Prince Hotel in Hakone Japan, from May 22 to May 25, 2007.
At this four-day conference you can expect the usual high standard of oral and poster presentations from leading investigators and scientists throughout the world working on the clinical and biological aspects of HTLV-1 and other related retroviruses.
The 2007 conference in Hakone will be the third one held in Japan preceded by the highly successful Kumamoto (1992) and Kagoshima (1999) meetings. Japan is the country where HTLV-1-related diseases have been described. Those include Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL), HTLV-1-associated myelopathy /tropical spastic paraparesis ((HAM/TSP) and HTLV-1 uveitis (HU). Beautiful Hakone is located near Mount Fuji, and offers a wide variety of cultural and environmental attractions. We would therefore like to encourage all those who have previously visited Japan and particularly for those who may be visiting Japan for the first time to make a special effort to visit Hakone and attend the 13th International Conference on Human Retrovirology: HTLV 2007 conference.
Register early and remember to visit the Hakone Prince Hotel web site to get a preview of what you will experience.
